Paul Clipsham

Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters,

Paul is currently Director, Programs & Engagement with Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters (CME).   His primary focus is on improving the organizations engagement with the manufacturing community across all CME activities including policy, advocacy, programs, and events.   


In his previous role as Director of Policy & Programs with CME Ontario Division, he managed policy and advocacy files relating to manufacturing competitiveness issues in Ontario including energy, human resources/skills and taxation.


Paul is regularly called on by business, government and the media to provide insight on policy relating to manufacturing and the broader economy. 


Paul has managed a number of projects with the CME including “Smart Productivity Legacy”, “Advancing Opportunities in Energy Management” and “Business Takes Action on Employment of Persons with Disabilities”. 


Prior to his current role, Paul held positions in developing countries including India and Indonesia working on corporate social responsibility initiatives.  He is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario, Niagara Collage and the Forum for International Trade Training (FITT).
